People Partner – Support for Call Center Teams

About the role

Wave is building the first cashless continent in Africa and needs a People Partner to support its call‑center teams in Burkina Faso and Mali. You will act as the HR liaison for the Support department, ensuring that people processes align with business objectives and foster an engaged, high‑performing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Support department to design and execute an HR strategy that matches team OKRs.
• Identify talent gaps, reassign resources, and drive change‑management initiatives.
• Support performance‑management workflows, including regular feedback, 1:1 meetings, coaching, and career‑growth conversations.
• Assist team leads with setting, tracking, and evaluating OKRs.
• Conduct audits of employee sick‑time records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Manage employee tenure updates for Benefit and Health Review (BHR) processes.
• Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems and records.
• Handle work‑accommodation requests, coordinating with local medical professionals as needed.
• Prepare and deliver explanation letters for employees and monitor HR compliance metrics.
