Senior HR Transition Specialist – Consultant

About the role

Cordaid is seeking a Senior HR Transition Specialist to lead a major workforce transition across roughly 15 countries in Africa, the Middle East, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. This home‑based consultancy will run for 6–9 months and requires deep expertise in HR transformation, organizational restructuring, workforce planning and multi‑country operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement HR transformation strategies for large‑scale workforce changes.
• Conduct organizational restructuring analyses and develop restructuring plans.
• Lead workforce planning activities, including talent assessments and redeployment.
• Coordinate and harmonise HR processes across multiple country contexts.
• Provide expert advice to senior stakeholders and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Deliver regular progress reports and actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (senior level) in HR transformation and large‑scale change programmes.
• Proven track record in organizational restructuring and workforce planning.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in multi‑country environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
