Equipment Engineer / Senior Equipment Engineer

About the role

The Equipment Engineer (or Senior Equipment Engineer) is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment. This role involves creating and maintaining detailed maintenance specifications, coordinating preventive and unscheduled maintenance activities, and working closely with equipment vendors and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Equipment Maintenance Specifications.
• Oversee and actively participate in preventive maintenance (PM) and unscheduled maintenance (UM) activities.
• Collaborate with equipment vendor field service teams to quickly resolve equipment and process issues.
• Develop and maintain Equipment PM specifications and related written procedures.
• Participate in Cross‑Functional Teams (CFT) to solve equipment and process challenges.
• Work with Manufacturing to schedule PM and UM activities.
