Technician

About the role

The Technician will provide effective and efficient technical interventions on equipment used in public works, mining, quarry and transport operations. Working on‑site, you will ensure equipment reliability and customer satisfaction under BIA’s maintenance contracts and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Erect, configure, modify, maintain, troubleshoot and repair field equipment according to shop manuals and repair processes.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance following OEM standards to maximise equipment availability.
• Follow planning instructions, complete required reporting and represent BIA’s values on the field.
• Maintain safe working conditions for yourself, co‑workers, visitors and subcontractors.
• Comply with BIA’s HSE procedures, report any health, safety or environmental issues, and attend mandatory HSE events.
• Stop work and withdraw from any activity that presents serious or imminent danger.
