Technical Support Supervisor

About the role

The Technical Support Supervisor will lead the technical support function, ensuring field teams can efficiently resolve asset‑related issues. Based in the Central African Republic, the role acts as the main technical interface with product vendors and central support teams, driving ticket resolution and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and equip field technical teams to resolve asset issues promptly.
• Serve as the technical liaison for issue escalation with vendors and central support.
• Manage ticket workflows on digital platforms (e.g., Zamad) to guarantee timely closure and traceability.
• Oversee spare‑parts, warranty, and training trackers, keeping data accurate and current.
• Coordinate formation and supervision of specialised on‑ground support teams for deployments and interventions.
• Plan, execute, and monitor technical upgrade roll‑outs and special projects in collaboration with field and regional teams.
• Provide regular reporting on field issues, equipment performance and support metrics.
• Lead training and knowledge‑sharing sessions for internal technicians, subcontractors and client teams.
• Support business development with technical input and maintain brand confidence.
• Contribute to quality control by reporting recurring failures and design limitations.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of experience in technical support, field engineering or equipment commissioning.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities, capable of managing multi‑location technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems or a related field.
• Professional proficiency in English and fluency in French.
• Relevant certifications in power systems, solar technologies or maintenance planning are a plus.
