Network Engineer - Cloud Operations

About the role

Varian is looking for a Network Engineer to join its Global Cloud Operations team. The role supports the design, deployment and ongoing management of private, public and hybrid cloud networks that enable Varian’s healthcare solutions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide network operations and support for Varian’s cloud solutions across public, private and hybrid environments.
• Assist with upgrading, installing and configuring cloud networking components, including monitoring, application access and security controls.
• Work with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Citrix NetScaler and Citrix ADC to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
• Report on current infrastructure status and contribute to capacity planning and future usage forecasts.
• Collaborate with Service, Operations, Product Management and Security teams to continuously improve cloud infrastructure.
• Support both new and legacy applications hosted in the cloud and help refine operational practices.

Required profile

• Strong background in cloud network implementation and support.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and other Cloud Service Providers.
• Proficiency with Palo Alto Networks security solutions.
• Ability to develop and maintain policies, procedures and standards for managed services.
