Transcriptionist – Dioula & English (Remote, $15‑$95/hr)

About the role

We are looking for a Dioula‑English bilingual transcriptionist to work remotely on video content. The role involves converting spoken material into accurate written transcripts while providing linguistic insights that support AI language model training.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe video content in both Dioula and English with high accuracy.
• Insert precise timestamps for each segment to enable easy reference.
• Analyze and describe the emotional tone, intent, and non‑verbal cues of speakers.
• Evaluate and critique grammar, syntax, and tone in both languages.
• Define and elaborate on conceptual aspects of words and expressions for deeper AI understanding.
• Collaborate with the client’s team to ensure deliverables meet quality and linguistic standards.

Required profile

• Fluency in Dioula and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in linguistics, translation, or transcription involving these languages.
• Ability to capture and articulate emotional nuance, tone, and speaker intent.
• Strong analytical skills for grammar evaluation and language feedback.
