Senior Accountant

About the role

Join a prestigious leader in the high-end jewelry industry, specializing in the production and retail of premium gold and silver pieces. We are looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our team in Zagreb and play a key role in ensuring our financial excellence and regulatory compliance.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and process incoming invoices with high precision.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable (maintaining URA and IRA purchase and sales records).
• Handle VAT calculations and ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Perform general ledger entries and conduct reconciliations between the general ledger and analytical records.
• Prepare periodic and annual financial statements.
• Actively participate in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing accounts.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar senior accounting role.
• Strong command of Navision (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Deep understanding of accounting processes, bookkeeping standards, and legal regulations.
• Highly autonomous professional with a strong sense of initiative and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive and maintain accuracy within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
