Responsable Administratif et Financier (MPC Mali)

About the role

The Financial and Administrative Manager ensures the reliability, compliance and integrity of financial information for Callivoire in Mali, in line with the revised SYSCOHADA framework and Group IFRS requirements. The role acts as a strategic partner to the Country Managing Director, driving financial performance, cash management, internal control and financial risk in a distribution‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the country’s financial strategy.
• Provide financial analyses to improve profitability, cash flow and margins.
• Support strategic and operational decision‑making.
• Participate actively in CODIR governance.
• Ensure accounting compliance with revised SYSCOHADA and IFRS standards.
• Supervise monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, validating the general ledger, trial balances and balance sheet.
• Implement tax and social security updates as required.
• Produce reliable group financial reporting within deadlines.
• Prepare adjustments for ECL, cut‑off, revenue recognition, IFRS 16 and other IFRS requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure audit readiness.
• Manage customer receivables, credit risk and ECL provisioning.
• Work closely with the Commercial Directorate to improve DSO.
• Identify weaknesses in processes and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain internal control and risk management frameworks.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with proven experience in financial management.
• Strong partnership skills with senior management and ability to lead a finance team.
• Deep knowledge of Mali accounting standards (SYSCOHADA) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience in cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Ability to provide analytical support for strategic and operational decisions.
