Junior/Mid Frontend Developer

About the role

Orqa is looking for a Junior or Mid‑level Frontend Developer to create modern, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript. You will work in an agile environment, turning UI/UX designs into high‑quality user interfaces while collaborating closely with designers and backend engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features with React.js and TypeScript.
• Maintain and improve existing code to optimise performance and user experience.
• Translate Figma designs into clean, responsive HTML/CSS.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous operations.
• Review peer code to uphold development standards.
• Ensure applications work flawlessly on both mobile and desktop devices.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of React (Hooks, Context API, React Router) and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid) and TypeScript.
• Experience with state‑management tools such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand or React Query.
• Comfortable using Git for version control.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
