IT Operations Associate

About the role

We are looking for an IT Operations Associate to ensure reliable internet, telephony and network services across our African offices. You will support employees, product and engineering teams by providing first‑line troubleshooting, managing SMPP and SIP connections and maintaining hardware and software assets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain office internet connectivity with 99.9 % uptime, coordinating with external ISPs.
• Monitor and ensure reliability of SMPP and SIP connections for SMS and voice notifications.
• Provide on‑call support for ticket management, troubleshooting network, telephony and hardware issues.
• Assist with onboarding and off‑boarding, configuring devices, software and permissions.
• Collaborate with the broader IT and telephony teams across multiple African locations.

Required profile

• Strong interest in IT infrastructure and willingness to work in a fast‑growing fintech environment.
• Good analytical skills to interpret error logs and network diagnostics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
