IoT Operations Lead

About the role

Lead the operational excellence of our national EV battery and vehicle IoT ecosystem, ensuring 99.9%+ availability of connected infrastructure and optimizing battery performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily IoT platform performance, device connectivity, and data flow to maintain high availability and reliability.
• Lead and coordinate teams responsible for battery asset operations, tracker operations, vehicle IoT, firmware, and network operations.
• Oversee battery asset onboarding, activation, monitoring, firmware updates, and issue resolution.
• Manage tracker inventory, activation, configuration, deployment, and health monitoring.
• Plan, coordinate, and track firmware upgrades (FOTA) for IoT devices, ensuring version control and successful deployment.
• Monitor SIM/network performance, investigate data gaps or connectivity issues, and work with telecom providers for resolution.
• Develop and improve SOPs, drive process improvements to reduce downtime and increase reporting accuracy.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in IoT operations, telematics, firmware/device operations, or asset operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience handling battery IoT systems, trackers, or connected vehicle operations.
