Inventory Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a mission‑driven Inventory Clerk to support our rapid growth in Mali. Working under the financial controller, you will manage day‑to‑day inventory operations and assist the procurement team to ensure smooth stock flow.

Key responsibilities

• Verify quantity and quality of received items against packing lists and report discrepancies.
• Organise new goods arrivals, ensure safe storage, and track internal stock requests.
• Maintain accurate stock levels through regular demand forecasting and keep stock above alert thresholds.
• Coordinate with procurement to restock items timely and oversee regular inventory counts.
• Investigate and report any inventory discrepancies.
• Track order status and delivery timelines with vendors.
• Provide administrative support for procurement documentation and maintain the inventory database in coordination with Finance.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties within the procurement team as needed.

Required profile

• Mission‑driven and passionate about getting things done.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organisational abilities.
• Able to work under supervision of the financial controller.
• Willingness to travel to field locations when required.
