Information Management Officer – Nutrition Cluster (Temporary, 364 days)

About the role

The Information Management Officer (IM Officer) will support the Nutrition Cluster in Somalia by maintaining data systems, strengthening programme coverage analysis, and providing technical monitoring support to UNICEF’s Nutrition Programme. This is a 364‑day temporary appointment based in Mogadishu and is open to Somali nationals only.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly update core cluster datasets, including 4Ws, partner mapping, service availability, and geographic coverage.
• Strengthen programme coverage analysis, service rationalisation, and gap identification.
• Support inter‑sectoral data analysis and joint planning processes.
• Roll out and promote the use of digital reporting platforms for real‑time monitoring.
• Provide structured information management and monitoring support to the UNICEF Nutrition Programme.
• Contribute to documentation, learning, and evidence generation through analytical briefs and case studies.

Required profile

• Open to Somali nationals only.
• Experience working in humanitarian nutrition or cluster coordination environments.
• Ability to work under the supervision of the National Nutrition Cluster Coordinator and in close collaboration with the UNICEF Nutrition Manager.
