Dioula Transcription & Annotation Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Dioula‑English specialist to transcribe and annotate video content for AI language model training. This remote contract position offers flexible hours and a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe video material in both Dioula and English with high accuracy.
• Insert precise timestamps for every segment to enable easy reference.
• Analyze speakers' emotional tone, intent, and non‑verbal cues, documenting subtle nuances.
• Review and critique grammar, syntax, and tone in both languages to improve model quality.
• Define and elaborate on conceptual meanings of words and expressions for deeper AI understanding.
• Collaborate with the client’s team to ensure deliverables meet linguistic and quality standards.

Required profile

• Fluent in Dioula and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in linguistics, translation, or transcription involving these languages.
• Ability to capture and describe emotionality, tone, and intent in spoken content.
• Strong analytical skills for grammar evaluation and comprehensive feedback.
