Dioula Transcription & Annotation Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Dioula & English specialist to transcribe and annotate video content for AI language model training. This remote contract position offers flexible hours and competitive pay based on expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe video material accurately in both Dioula and English.
• Provide precise timestamps for every transcribed segment.
• Analyze speakers' emotional tone, intent, and non‑verbal cues.
• Critique grammar, syntax, and tone to improve model quality.
• Define conceptual meanings of words and expressions for deeper AI understanding.
• Collaborate with the client’s team to ensure linguistic and quality standards are met.

Required profile

• Fluent in Dioula and English with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Proven experience in linguistics, translation, or transcription involving both languages.
• Ability to capture and describe emotionality, tone, and intent in spoken content.
• Familiarity with transcription tools and meticulous timestamping.
• Strong analytical skills for grammar evaluation and comprehensive feedback.
