Dioula Bilingual Transcriptionist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dioula‑English bilingual transcriptionist to join our remote team. You will work on video content, providing accurate transcriptions that support language model training and AI development.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe video material in both Dioula and English with high accuracy.
• Insert precise timestamps for each segment to enable easy reference.
• Analyze and describe speakers' emotional tone, intent, and non‑verbal cues.
• Evaluate and critique grammar, syntax, and tone to improve linguistic datasets.
• Define conceptual meanings of words and expressions for deeper AI understanding.
• Collaborate with the client’s team to ensure quality and linguistic standards are met.

Required profile

• Fluency in Dioula and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in linguistics, translation, or transcription involving these languages.
• Ability to capture emotional nuance, tone, and intent in spoken content.
• Strong analytical skills for grammar assessment and language feedback.

Required skills

• Proficiency with transcription tools and software.
• Attention to detail in timestamping and note‑taking.
