BESS Sales Director

About the role

The BESS Sales Director will lead our international sales efforts for battery energy storage systems, driving market expansion and revenue growth across key overseas regions. This senior position requires strong relationship‑building, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the energy storage market.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key overseas clients, lead negotiations and manage public‑relations activities.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive database of overseas customers and develop detailed market expansion plans.
• Manage the regional sales budget, control costs and ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Develop and implement overseas marketing strategies for energy‑storage products aligned with corporate goals.
• Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, produce regular reports and set actionable regional sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 5 years of proven sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the energy‑storage industry and solid knowledge of market demands.
• Proactive attitude, strong stress‑management, excellent management and adaptability skills.
• Fluent in English (advanced listening, speaking, reading, writing).
• Established customer resources and familiarity with energy‑storage policies and networks are preferred.
• Strong market‑development abilities and extensive customer contacts are a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, coordination and problem‑solving capabilities.
