Strategic Integrated Programs Director

About the role

The Strategic Integrated Programs Director will operationalise World Vision Mali’s strategic plan, leading cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact programmes that improve child well‑being. Reporting to the National Director, the role combines strategic oversight, programme management and stakeholder engagement across donor, government and community partners.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the national strategic plan and ensure programmes achieve Child Well‑Being Outcomes aligned with organisational priorities.
• Provide overall leadership, oversight and management of all programmes and projects, ensuring compliance with World Vision policies and donor standards.
• Integrate multiple ministry lines and funding streams to maximise programme effectiveness and efficiency.
• Manage large‑scale budgets and financial reporting for projects funded by government donors and UN agencies.
• Engage strategically with donor governments, UN agencies, the Malian government, NGOs, community organisations and the private sector.
• Model Christ‑centered servant leadership, mentor staff, and promote professional development and knowledge sharing.
• Serve as a Vision Fund Board Member and champion partnership principles.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in programme design, implementation and strategic management within the international development or humanitarian sector.
• Proven track record of managing large budgets and donor‑funded projects.
• Strong understanding of child‑focused development outcomes and community‑driven approaches.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with governments, UN agencies and NGOs.
• Commitment to World Vision’s Christian values and servant‑leadership philosophy.
