Manager MEAL – Projet Relance

About the role

The MEAL Manager will lead the design, coordination and implementation of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) system for the Resilience and Emergency Aid Project (Projet Relance) in the Liptako‑Gourma region. The position is based in Mopti, Mali, with regular travel to project sites in Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the MEAL framework, tools and indicators to track project performance and impact.
• Ensure compliance with the Child Safeguarding Policy, Code of Conduct and national safeguarding procedures.
• Integrate safeguarding considerations into data‑collection tools, surveys and accountability mechanisms.
• Provide training and technical support to the Lead Safeguarding Officer and focal points on case management and community feedback.
• Produce regular MEAL reports, share best practices and contribute to accountability documentation.
• Collaborate with partners, government ministries and community representatives to promote child protection messages.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MEAL functions within humanitarian or development programmes.
• Strong understanding of child safeguarding policies and ability to apply them in field operations.
• Excellent communication skills in French (English preferred) and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso.
