Inventory Clerk

About the role

We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to join our fast‑growing fintech team in Bamako. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will manage day‑to‑day inventory operations and support procurement as we scale across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Verify the quality and quantity of received items against packing lists and report discrepancies.
• Organise incoming goods, ensure safe storage, and track internal stock requests.
• Maintain accurate stock levels through regular demand forecasting and ensure thresholds are met.
• Coordinate with the procurement team for timely restocking and oversee regular inventory counts.
• Investigate and report any inventory discrepancies.
• Track order status and delivery timelines with vendors.
• Provide administrative support throughout the procurement workflow.
• Assist in maintaining the inventory database in collaboration with the Finance team.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties within the procurement team as needed.

• Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑up skills.
• Able to work under the supervision of the Financial Controller.
• Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a rapidly scaling environment.
