Dioula‑English Translator – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Dioula‑English expert to join our remote team on a contract basis. The role focuses on high‑quality transcription, translation, and linguistic analysis of video content to support AI language model training.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe video material in both Dioula and English with strict accuracy.
• Insert precise timestamps for every transcribed segment.
• Analyze and document the emotional tone, intent, and non‑verbal cues of speakers.
• Review and critique grammar, syntax, and tone in both languages.
• Define conceptual meanings of words and expressions to enrich AI understanding.
• Collaborate with the client’s team to ensure linguistic quality standards are met.

Required profile

• Fluent in Dioula and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in linguistics, translation, or transcription involving these languages.
• Ability to capture subtle emotional nuances and speaker intent.
• Strong analytical mindset for grammar evaluation and feedback.
