Email Marketing Growth Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Email Marketing Growth Manager to drive growth for our reverse‑lookup products through systematic experimentation. The role focuses on maximizing the impact of email as a core acquisition and retention channel, working closely with the Email and Growth teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the experimentation roadmap for email marketing growth.
• Design, prioritize and run A/B tests on subject lines, preview text, body copy, calls‑to‑action, content structure, offers and lifecycle messaging.
• Develop pre‑purchase experiments to boost conversion volume and post‑purchase experiments to improve activation, retention and re‑engagement.
• Analyze email performance and user behavior to uncover friction points and growth opportunities.
• Write clear testing hypotheses and craft compelling copy variations.
• Partner with the Email Team to implement tests and campaign changes.
• Measure results, identify winners and losers, and define next steps.
• Maintain a backlog of experiments, document learnings and share daily reports in the growth Slack channel.
• Conduct market and competitor research to generate new hypotheses.
• Collaborate with data and product stakeholders to tie experiments to measurable business outcomes.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in email marketing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience executing growth‑focused A/B tests.
• Strong foundation in conversion rate optimization and lifecycle marketing.
• Proven ability to generate testing ideas that improve conversion, activation and retention.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with experimentation platforms (e.g., Mixpanel, Customer.io or similar).
• Proficiency in designing and analyzing A/B tests.
• Strong analytical skills with comfort working with performance data.
• Copywriting instincts for subject lines, CTAs and email messaging.
