Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Supply & Logistics Manager (P‑4) to lead the supply chain operations of its Bamako country office and emergency response activities. Reporting to the Chief of Supply or Chief of Operations, the incumbent will ensure that procurement, warehousing, transport and distribution meet programme needs and support children’s rights.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire supply chain, including planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, in‑country transport and distribution.
• Monitor supplies, services and construction works to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
• Collaborate with programme teams and implementing partners to define and implement supply interventions.
• Provide technical and advisory support to government and national systems on supply chain management.
• Drive innovation in products, markets and logistics solutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Supply/Purchasing, Logistics, International Development, Health Administration, Social Science, Management, Supply Chain Management, Contract and Commercial Law or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in supply management, procurement, logistics, vendor management, warehousing, inventory, transportation, emergency response or public‑sector procurement.
• Fluency in French and English; knowledge of an additional UN language or local language is a plus.
