Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure & GitHub Focus

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement and evolve DevOps capabilities across a modern Azure‑based engineering landscape. You will work closely with development teams to automate CI/CD pipelines, apply GitOps practices and enable developers through GitHub, Azure DevOps and Azure native services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain reusable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Bicep and enforce GitOps‑driven delivery workflows.
• Improve pipeline quality, security, secrets management and deployment automation.
• Support release automation, environment management and troubleshooting of pipeline or infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with multiple application teams to standardise engineering practices and create reusable technical patterns.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Proven ability to implement DevOps practices across several teams or applications.
• Solid understanding of Azure identity, permissions, service connections and managed identities.
• Experience with pipeline security, quality gates and deployment approvals.
