Visiting Expert for EUCAP Sahel Mali Mission

About the role

The European Union Capacity Building Mission in Mali (EUCAP Sahel Mali) is seeking qualified visiting experts to support its 2026‑2028 programme. Experts will contribute specialised knowledge to strengthen institutional capacities and promote sustainable development in the Sahel region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and technical support to mission activities in Mali.
• Participate in on‑site assessments, workshops and training sessions.
• Collaborate with mission staff, local authorities and partner organisations.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports, recommendations and best‑practice guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with EU mission standards and security protocols.

Required profile

• Nationality of an EU Member State (or eligible third‑state candidate).
• Registered on the EU Goalkeeper platform (EU Login required).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Mali for the mission duration.
• Relevant professional experience in capacity building, governance, security sector reform, or related fields.
