Supervisor, Mobile Health Team

About the role

The Mobile Health Team Supervisor leads a multidisciplinary team delivering essential health services via a Medical Mobile Unit to hard‑to‑reach and crisis‑affected populations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and ensure the well‑being of doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, lab technicians, community health workers and other staff.
• Plan, organise, implement and monitor mobile health activities in line with project objectives, indicators and budget.
• Manage mobile health equipment, supplies and drugs, ensuring proper storage, usage, disposal and reporting of shortages.
• Monitor and evaluate activities, collect and report data promptly.
• Ensure infection‑prevention precautions, waste management and crowd control at service sites.
• Coordinate with communities, local elders and stakeholders, and refer patients needing higher‑level care.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in medicine, nursing, public health or related field.
• Valid professional licence/registration in the country of residence.
• Minimum five years of experience as a health professional, preferably in low‑resource or humanitarian settings.
• Proven ability to plan, implement and monitor mobile health activities independently.
• Strong leadership skills to manage a diverse multidisciplinary team.

• Familiarity with essential health services protocols and infection‑prevention standards.
