Space Applications Expert – Satellite Navigation & Connectivity

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert in Space Applications, focusing on satellite navigation, GNSS and augmentation systems, as well as satellite connectivity. The role supports the development and uptake of space‑based applications across Africa within the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, aeronautics, geomatics or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in satellite navigation, telecommunications, satellite connectivity or related applications.
• At least 4 years of experience with satellite‑navigation or connectivity applications, including GNSS, SBAS, aviation or maritime use cases, and satellite broadband.
• Working knowledge of Galileo, EGNOS, IRIS² and relevant African navigation and augmentation initiatives is considered an asset.
