Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Procurement Officer to strengthen our purchasing operations across the region. Based in our Bamako office, you will ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies while supporting internal teams and managing supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all purchasing activities and guarantee full compliance with procurement policies.
• Train and support internal teams on procurement best practices.
• Collaborate with departments to develop procurement plans aligned with approved budgets.
• Coordinate import logistics and documentation with freight forwarders.
• Prepare and launch RFQs, assess offers, draft selection reports, and support vendor negotiations.
• Manage purchase orders, monitor workflow, track deliveries, and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain accurate records, produce regular procurement reports, and conduct inventory counts.
• Handle any additional procurement‑related tasks assigned by the Procurement Manager.

• Willingness to travel to field locations as needed.
