Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to join our fast‑growing fintech team in Bamako, Mali. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will ensure that all purchasing activities comply with company policies and support the operational needs of our regional business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all purchasing activities, guaranteeing full compliance with procurement policies.
• Train and support internal teams on procurement best practices and policy awareness.
• Collaborate with departments to develop procurement plans aligned with approved budgets.
• Coordinate import logistics and documentation with freight forwarders.
• Prepare and launch RFQs, assess offers, draft selection reports and assist in vendor negotiations.
• Manage purchase orders, monitor workflow, track deliveries and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain accurate records, produce regular procurement reports and conduct inventory counts.
• Perform any additional procurement‑related tasks assigned by the Procurement Manager.

Required profile

• Proactive and detail‑oriented with a strong interest in efficient systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Willingness to travel to field locations as needed.
