People and Culture Officer (P-2) – Fixed Term – Bamako

About the role

The People and Culture Officer provides HR services and support to the UNICEF country office in Bamako. Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, the officer applies HR policies, contributes to strategic initiatives, and assists colleagues across the unit.

Key responsibilities

• Business partnering with line managers to address HR needs.
• Support strategic human resources functions and implementation of assigned HR services.
• Deliver learning and capacity‑development activities for staff.
• Conduct HR data analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate on change‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Management, International Relations or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant HR experience in an international organization or large corporation.
• Fluency in French and good working knowledge of English.
• Desirable: knowledge of another UN language or local language, experience in change management and HR analytics.
