Key Account Lead

About the role

Wave is looking for an experienced sales professional to drive the adoption of its cashless payment solutions among large corporate clients in Mali. You will lead the acquisition of high‑revenue business customers and accelerate growth across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target high‑potential corporations, structured SMEs, NGOs and government institutions, building a robust sales pipeline.
• Conduct presentations and product demos for senior decision‑makers, understand client needs and propose tailored solutions such as salary payments and invoice collection.
• Negotiate contract terms, close deals and ensure successful onboarding of new clients.
• Track and report key sales KPIs using the CRM, provide field feedback to product and marketing teams, and perform competitive intelligence on other fintech players.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in an international company, bank, mobile‑money or similar environment.
• Fluent French and professional proficiency in English.
• Proven mastery of the full B2B sales cycle and a strong network of senior executives in the region.
• Mission‑driven attitude, strong performance record and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup.
