Head of Marketing

About the role

We are looking for a strategic and execution‑focused Head of Marketing to lead our marketing function in Mali. You will shape the local marketing strategy, work closely with the General Manager and cross‑functional leaders, and drive sustainable growth as we expand our cashless financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the local marketing strategy aligned with growth targets, market expansion, and brand ambition.
• Partner with the General Manager and functional leads (Operations, Sales, Support, Product) as a strategic advisor.
• Plan and manage marketing budgets, allocate resources, and ensure ROI accountability.
• Collaborate with the group marketing team to align market, product, and brand strategies with global direction.
• Lead full‑funnel campaigns across ATL, BTL, and social media for the Mali market.
• Develop clear processes and documentation to guide cross‑functional project delivery.
• Conduct market intelligence activities, including consumer insights, brand health, and channel performance analysis.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Development, Management or a related field.
• At least 12 years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record of designing and executing large‑scale, multi‑channel marketing strategies that deliver measurable commercial impact.
• Experience managing budgets and leading teams in fast‑growing environments.
