Dioula Bilingual Expert (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a fluent Dioula‑English bilingual expert to support the training of next‑generation AI models. Working remotely, you will provide high‑quality transcriptions, annotations and linguistic analysis that help improve how AI understands and generates language. No prior AI experience is required – your language expertise is the key asset.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe video content from Dioula and English with precise accuracy.
• Mark timestamps for each transcribed segment to enable easy reference.
• Identify and describe the emotional tone, intent and non‑verbal cues of speakers.
• Evaluate and comment on grammar, syntax and overall tone in both languages.
• Define conceptual meanings of words and expressions to enrich model understanding.
• Provide linguistic feedback and collaborate with the client’s team to meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Fluency in Dioula and English, both written and spoken.
• Background in linguistics, translation or transcription involving Dioula.
• Ability to capture subtle emotional and tonal nuances in spoken content.
• Strong analytical mindset for grammar and language evaluation.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently with a commitment of at least 15 hours per week.

Required skills

• Experience with transcription tools and accurate timestamping.
