Dataset Curator

About the role

We are looking for a Dataset Curator to design, maintain, and optimise high‑quality datasets that power AI, Machine Learning and Large Language Model projects. You will work closely with data scientists, AI trainers and engineers to ensure the data used for model training is accurate, diverse and ethically sourced.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, curate and structure datasets for AI and ML training.
• Validate dataset accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Annotate and label data according to project guidelines.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicates and anomalies.
• Maintain comprehensive metadata and documentation.
• Collaborate with AI trainers and data engineers to define dataset requirements.
• Monitor dataset quality continuously and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of proven experience in dataset curation, data analysis or data management.
• Experience handling large‑scale datasets for AI, ML or analytics projects.
• Awareness of AI dataset ethics, bias detection and mitigation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• SQL query skills.
• Python for data handling.
• Knowledge of data cleaning, normalization and transformation techniques.
• Familiarity with data annotation tools and platforms.
• Experience with database management and version‑control systems.
