Welcome Officer – Front Desk & Visitor Management

About the role

Wave is building a cashless Africa and needs a friendly face to greet visitors and support daily operations. As a Welcome Officer you will be the first point of contact for staff, clients, and guests, ensuring a smooth and professional experience at our Bamako office.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, welcome and direct visitors, notify relevant personnel of arrivals, and handle inquiries.
• Receive, log and distribute mail and parcels while maintaining traceability.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee and department directories, travel records, document validity, and contact information.
• Coordinate staff travel and logistics across Wave offices, including flight tickets, hotel bookings, and airport transfers.
• Liaise with ministries, consulates and other authorities for visas, permits and registrations.
• Keep the reception area clean, safe and compliant with company procedures.
• Organise the welcome side of events, meetings and seminars in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Assist the People Operations Assistant with administrative tasks and any other duties as needed.
