Technical Operations Engineer

About the role

Veeva Systems is looking for a Technical Operations Engineer to join its fast‑growing RTSM team. This position blends SRE, DevOps, systems administration, and release management responsibilities, offering early‑career engineers a chance to make an immediate impact on a world‑class IRT/RTSM platform.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution and delivery with a strong focus on quality.
• Lead architecture initiatives, including migration of RTSM Windows infrastructure to AWS.
• Define and continuously improve operational processes and best practices.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for complex failures and propose modern solutions.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks before they become issues.
• Support production study deployments.

Required profile

• Four‑year degree in an IT‑related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with AWS, Windows Server, and the Microsoft technology stack.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or VBScript.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of IIS and web‑server administration.
