Senior Project Manager – RELANCE Project (Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso)

About the role

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) leads the multi‑country RELANCE project, a humanitarian‑development initiative implemented in Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso. Reporting to the Director of Program Operations, the SPM provides strategic direction, ensures quality implementation, and coordinates a consortium of national partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and day‑to‑day management of the RELANCE project across three countries.
• Coordinate the consortium, ensuring effective collaboration among Save the Children, national partners and technical advisors.
• Oversee compliance with donor requirements, risk management procedures and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely delivery of results, monitor performance indicators and supervise MEAL, partnership, finance, security and technical teams.
• Implement and promote the Child Protection Policy, conduct background checks, and raise child‑protection awareness among staff, partners and communities.
• Represent the project in regional steering committees and maintain strong relationships with government ministries and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑country humanitarian or development projects.
• Strong knowledge of child protection standards and ability to enforce safeguarding policies.
• Excellent coordination and leadership skills, with a track record of working with diverse partners.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso.
• Fluency in English (French is an advantage).
