Senior Accountant Specialist - International Group

About the position

Join the Museum of Illusions, a global leader in immersive entertainment, as a Senior Accountant Specialist. In this key role based in Zagreb, you will play a pivotal part in our international growth by overseeing the monthly closing processes for our global museum subsidiaries.

Main Missions

• Manage the end-to-end monthly and annual closing processes for international subsidiaries.
• Oversee daily accounting operations: incoming invoices, bank statements, revenue reporting, and payroll.
• Perform complex accounting tasks including provisions, depreciation of fixed assets, and inter-company transactions.
• Ensure accuracy through rigorous bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reviews (stocks, fixed assets, provisions).
• Collaborate closely with local accounting teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and controls.
• Drive continuous improvement by participating in process automation and compliance reporting.
• Support external audits and contribute to special financial projects as required.

Profile sought

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in a similar international accounting role.
• Strong command of international accounting regulations.
• Exceptional analytical skills and a critical thinking mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously while being a proactive team player.

• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• High level of rigor, precision, and attention to detail.
