Project Manager – Cross‑Departmental Projects

About the role

The Project Manager leads cross‑departmental teams to deliver medium to high‑complexity projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role requires managing risk, scope, and stakeholder expectations while coordinating resources across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and resources using appropriate tools.
• Communicate project expectations, status reports, and post‑mortem lessons learned to all parties.
• Develop and manage project budgets, negotiate resource allocations, and adjust staffing as needed.
• Delegate tasks, resolve conflicts, and ensure dependencies and critical paths are managed.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate team members and contractors to achieve project objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience leading complex, multi‑disciplinary projects, including at least 3 years at manager or director level.
• Industry‑recognized project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
• Proven ability to work under pressure, multitask, and adapt to shifting priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Familiarity with diagram/process‑flow tools and statistical software.
• Knowledge of conference/virtual‑collaboration platforms.
• Certification in PMP, Prince2, Six Sigma or TQM.
