Key Account Lead

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Key Account Lead to drive adoption of Wave’s payment and business solutions among large corporate clients in Mali. You will be based in our Bamako office, working closely with the sales team to expand our footprint across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target high‑potential corporations, SMEs, NGOs and government institutions for Wave Business services.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demos to C‑level decision makers (CEOs, CFOs, HR Directors).
• Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions such as salary payments, supplier collections and invoice processing.
• Negotiate contract terms, finalize agreements and ensure successful onboarding.
• Track key performance indicators and report progress using our CRM system.
• Provide structured feedback to Product and Marketing teams and conduct competitive intelligence on rival offerings.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in key account management or enterprise sales.
• Proven track record of acquiring high‑revenue business customers.
• Work authorization for Mali and willingness to travel within the country.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with C‑level stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline management and reporting.
