Drone Technician

About the role

Orqa is seeking a hands‑on Drone Technician to join its fast‑moving team. You will be responsible for assembling, configuring, testing and maintaining cutting‑edge FPV drone systems that support research, development and real‑world deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, build and customize Orqa drones, including ESCs, motors, propellers and cameras.
• Configure flight‑controller firmware such as Betaflight, iNav, ArduPilot and PX4.
• Test drones in real‑world and adverse conditions, evaluate performance and suggest improvements.
• Troubleshoot firmware and software issues across multiple drone platforms.
• Maintain flight logs, configurations and documentation.
• Diagnose, repair and replace malfunctioning components, ensuring drones are ready for field use.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience assembling and piloting FPV drones (long‑range experience a plus).
• Strong understanding of electronics and RF systems.
• Proficiency with soldering and hardware troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel for demos and field testing.
