Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Backend Engineer Annotator to support the development, evaluation, and improvement of artificial intelligence systems. In this role you will review, annotate, validate, and enhance backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system‑design outputs that are used to train AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples and engineering workflows.
• Label datasets that involve REST APIs, GraphQL, and complex backend processes.
• Validate scalability, performance, and reliability standards of server‑side implementations.
• Provide structured engineering reasoning and detailed evaluation feedback.
• Assess server‑side code performance, logic accuracy, and security compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and session management.
• Experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event‑driven design.
• Knowledge of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
