SAP Application Operations Consultant – International

About the role

We are seeking a proactive SAP Application Operations Consultant to ensure stable and reliable SAP services across the Vetropack Group. You will work in an international, regulated environment, supporting ongoing transformation initiatives such as the S/4HANA migration and RISE with SAP.

Key responsibilities

• Own the operational SAP landscape, maintaining daily stability and reliability.
• Coordinate SAP operations with internal experts, business stakeholders, and external service providers.
• Plan and execute releases, system updates, maintenance windows, and downtimes.
• Govern SAP system changes and transport activities using SAP Solution Manager.
• Handle standard and emergency changes, including after‑hours imports when required.
• Support audit‑relevant SAP topics, security approvals, and implementation of SAP Security Notes.
• Maintain SAP documentation on the Enterprise Portal and SharePoint.

Required profile

• University degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP‑related experience and 7 years in an IT environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP operations, support, and governance within international or regulated settings.
