Application Engineer – Dispensing

About the role

Rimac is seeking an Application Engineer specialized in dispensing to join its high‑performance electric vehicle team. You will work on designing, testing, and scaling dispensing solutions for automotive production, collaborating with central engineering groups and supporting line installation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to define best‑practice dispensing solutions and contribute to Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), review results, and sign off readiness for installation.
• Support line installation and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), validate cycle times, and document SAT outcomes.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, reduce scrap, and optimise cycle times through data‑driven analysis.
• Implement engineering changes, support quality improvements, and monitor technical availability during ramp‑up.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues, applying containment and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
• Hands‑on experience or strong interest in adhesive and potting applications, including surface preparation.
• Experience in high‑volume automotive production and automation environments.
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably CATIA.
• Associate degree or certification in dispensing processes or production technologies.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and excellent communication skills.
