Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) – Fixed Term – Bamako

About the role

The Supply & Logistics Manager will lead the supply chain operations of UNICEF’s country office in Mali, ensuring that procurement, warehousing, transport and distribution activities meet programme needs and emergency response requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, procure, contract and manage the delivery of goods and services, including customs clearance and warehousing.
• Oversee in‑country transport, distribution and inventory monitoring for both routine programmes and emergency operations.
• Collaborate closely with programme teams to define supply interventions that achieve results for children.
• Provide technical and advisory support to government bodies, national systems and implementing partners on supply chain management.
• Drive innovation in products, markets and supply chain processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Supply/Purchasing, Logistics, International Development, Health Administration, Social Science, Management, Contract Law or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in supply management, procurement, logistics, emergency response or public‑sector procurement.
• Fluency in both French and English.
