Learning and Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a strategic, people‑focused Learning and Development Manager to lead our remote employee growth initiatives. In this fully remote position you will design, deliver and evaluate training programs that close skill gaps, foster continuous learning, and empower our global workforce to reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with C‑level executives and department heads to identify organizational and individual skill gaps and align L&D initiatives with business objectives.
• Create engaging training curricula, including e‑learning modules, virtual workshops and micro‑learning content tailored for a distributed workforce.
• Lead and continuously improve the remote onboarding experience, ensuring new hires feel welcomed, equipped and integrated from day one.
• Oversee the Learning Management System, managing digital learning infrastructure to guarantee accessibility, usability and accurate tracking.
• Forecast, monitor and optimise the annual L&D budget while negotiating contracts with external training vendors and content providers.
• Analyse metrics, conduct skills audits and measure ROI on training initiatives, using learner feedback to refine courses and career‑pathing programs.
• Collaborate with managers and HR to develop leadership training and career‑development frameworks that support internal talent retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Education or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a remote or distributed work environment.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories, blended learning strategies and instructional design principles.
• Proven ability to manage, coach and evaluate teams in virtual settings.
• Excellent written, verbal and virtual presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate engaging sessions via video conferencing.

Required skills

• Experience with modern Learning Management Systems such as Docebo, Canvas or Absorb.
• Proficiency in e‑learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
