Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Non‑Key Expert to embed gender equality and social inclusion throughout the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme. The specialist will ensure that programme activities are inclusive, gender‑responsive and provide equitable access to emerging space opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations into all programme components, from policy dialogue to private‑sector engagement.
• Facilitate inclusive stakeholder participation and monitor sex‑disaggregated indicators to assess impact.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum eight years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation.
• At least four years designing and applying gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes.

Required skills

• Gender analysis and development of sex‑disaggregated indicators.
• Design and delivery of inclusive stakeholder participation processes.
• Gender‑responsive communication and training.
• Familiarity with EU external‑action gender policy.
