Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) – Fixed Term – Bamako

About the role

The Supply & Logistics Manager reports to the Chief of Supply or Chief of Operations and is responsible for overseeing the full supply chain of a medium‑to‑large country office and emergency response operations in Mali. The role covers planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, transport, distribution and monitoring of supplies, services and construction works.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Supply section and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Coordinate emergency response logistics and maintain readiness.
• Collaborate with programme teams and implementing partners to define supply interventions.
• Provide technical and advisory support to government and national systems on supply chain matters.
• Drive innovation in products, markets and supply solutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Supply/Purchasing, Logistics, International Development, Health Administration, Social Science, Management, Supply Chain Management, Contract & Commercial Law or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in supply management, procurement, logistics, vendor management, warehousing, inventory, transportation, emergency response or public‑sector procurement.
